The Grassland Desert Vehicle is a tourist bus specifically designed for scenic areas, capable of traversing deserts, grasslands, shallow waters, Gobi regions, forests, and other terrains. Its large size and striking appearance have made it a major attraction. Currently deployed in numerous scenic parks across Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, and other regions, it has significantly boosted visitor traffic and earned widespread approval from scenic area operators.
Independently developed by our company, this vehicle holds multiple national patents. Powered by a 375-horsepower Cummins engine with all-wheel drive and 1.6-meter diameter tires, it navigates harsh terrains including deserts, forests, mountains, Gobi regions, and shallow waters with ease. The chassis incorporates massive shock-absorbing springs that neutralize the jarring sensations of desert terrain while ensuring passenger safety and comfort, delivering an unprecedented riding experience.
Both driver and co-pilot seats feature shock-absorbing cushions. The passenger area comes standard with 18 leather seats (leather being easy to clean in desert environments), each equipped with seatbelts and backrests with armrests. An iron handrail is installed in front of the first row of passenger seats. Considering sand easily enters shoes in desert regions, passengers often bring shoe covers. To prevent slipping on fine sand particles, the floor uses aluminum checker plate. Corners are sealed and reinforced to avoid passenger injuries. The vehicle features a rollover protection frame and comes equipped with a transparent tarpaulin canopy, providing an additional layer of safety for passengers (recommended speed limit: 30 km/h). The driver’s compartment includes a 360° rearview camera, audio system, and public address system. The doors utilize a sliding opening mechanism, allowing them to open even in confined spaces.
Upon introduction to scenic areas, this vehicle quickly captures visitor attention, becoming a popular attraction. During the May Day holiday, numerous scenic spots reported near-continuous daytime operation, with many visitors riding multiple times. Our company dispatched technical personnel for on-site inspection and maintenance to ensure smooth holiday operations while gathering data for future desert vehicle upgrades.
